Hotel & aparthotel website design: Your hotel, shown the way guests picture it.
Hotel and hospitality websites we have designed and built.
The brief
Six jobs a hotel website has to do.
01
- Show the rooms
- Every room type on its own page, with a gallery, what is included and who it suits, so a guest can choose before they have to ask.
02
- Take the booking
- A short, obvious path from dates to confirmation on your own domain, so the guest who finds you elsewhere can book with you.
03
- Tell the hotel’s story
- The restaurant, the bar, functions and private hire, the people and the place, each with a page of its own rather than a paragraph on the homepage.
04
- Put the hotel on the map
- Pages for the towns, airports and landmarks guests search from, so the hotel is found for where it is.
05
- Welcome every kind of guest
- Leisure, business, contractor and relocation stays each get a page written for them, with the right next step.
06
- Work on a phone first
- Guests look at hotels on phones, tablets and laptops. The site is designed for the smallest screen first and made to work on all of them.
Who it is for
Hotels, aparthotels and the people who run them.
Independent and boutique hotels
Owner-run hotels, guest houses and boutique hotels that want a website with the character of the stay. We have built for Seka Inn Hotel, an eighteen-room boutique hotel in Crowthorne, Berkshire, and for Holcombe Guest House and Hotel in North Lincolnshire.

Aparthotels
Aparthotels and serviced apartments, where a guest needs to understand what to expect before they book. Thetford Hive, furnished apartments in Thetford, has a rooms page and an explanation of what to expect from an aparthotel. It is a serviced apartment business rather than a hotel, and we show it for that rooms page.

More than one property
A collection of properties, each with its own entry and a clear way for guests to choose. Penthouse Stays presents a collection of boutique hotels, suites and residences in London, with a find-a-stay route and its own page for each.

Already have a website?
Redesigning a hotel website that exists.
A redesign starts with what already works. We look at how guests move through your current website, how the rooms are presented, how booking feels on a phone and which pages already bring visitors in, then keep what should stay and rebuild what should not.
- Rooms and suites presented room by room, with photography that does them justice.
- A booking path a guest can finish on a phone.
- A planned move from the old website to the new one, so pages that already attract visitors are not lost.
- Content you can update yourselves, without waiting for us.
We will tell you plainly which changes are worth making first, and which are not.
Direct booking
Connected to the way you take bookings.
We build the booking path around the system your hotel already uses, and confirm how it connects before we start. Tell us which one you run and we will say plainly what is possible. Seka Inn Hotel’s website takes room bookings and table bookings direct, and Holcombe Guest House and Hotel’s takes direct bookings with self check-in.
- Bespoke design around your brand, no templates
- A page for every room and suite, with galleries
- A direct booking path on your own domain, where your booking system supports it
- Pages for the restaurant, the bar, functions and private hire where you have them
- Pages for the places guests search from
- Fast, mobile-first build with on-page SEO foundations
- Analytics and conversion tracking, so you can see what the site produces
- Content you can update yourselves

Set expectations
The website is where guests land. Traffic still has to be earned.
A better website does not create demand by itself. People still have to find it, through search, advertising, your listings and the guests you already have. We build the website so each of those has somewhere good to send them, with SEO and Google Ads when you want them.

Questions, answered.
What does hotel website design involve?
Designing and building the whole guest journey: how the rooms are shown, how a guest books, how the restaurant, bar and events are presented, and how the hotel is found. It is built around your brand and your rooms, page by page, rather than from a template.
Do you design websites for aparthotels as well as hotels?
Yes, and the approach is the same: show the rooms, explain what a stay is like and make booking simple. Our closest example is Thetford Hive, whose website has a rooms page and an explanation of what to expect from an aparthotel. It is a serviced apartment business rather than a hotel, and we say so.
Can the website take bookings directly?
Yes. We build the booking path around the system your hotel already uses, where it supports it, and confirm how it connects before we start. Seka Inn Hotel’s website takes room and table bookings direct, and Holcombe Guest House and Hotel’s takes direct bookings.
Can you redesign the website we already have?
Yes. We start with what already works, then keep what should stay and rebuild what should not, and plan the move so pages that already attract visitors are not lost. Tell us what is not working and we will say what we would change first.
Will a new website bring more bookings on its own?
No website does. It needs people to arrive, from search, advertising, your listings and returning guests, and it has to make booking easy once they do. We build the website as the place all of that lands, with SEO and Google Ads when you want them.
Do you work with hotels outside London?
Yes. We are based in Portsmouth and work with clients across the UK. Our hotel and guest house websites are in London, Berkshire and North Lincolnshire, and projects run through calls and a shared WhatsApp group, so distance makes no difference. Bespoke websites are priced to your requirements.
